Medusa, real name Samantha Rahimi, was an elite Gamma Trita Corporation (GTC) operative. She was a ruthless and sadistic warrior who shared a complex, volatile history of rivalries and casual romance with her former partner, Mia Semm (Lorelei Ogden). 

She became "Patient Zero" for GTC’s Project Galatea, transferring her mind into an indestructible, snake-dreadlocked mechanical body. After relentlessly hunting Ogden across the Sol System, Medusa was fatally neutralized by Ogden via an EMP grenade at the Oberon facility. In her final moments, she dropped her abrasive facade, confessing that her recklessness was driven by professional jealousy and that she was secretly in love with Ogden.
