Jupiter itself is a massive stormy world. Humans haven't done much on it, other than some gas mining facilities and floating science centers. The real action lies on several of Jupiter's moons.

Ganymede and Io are the most colonized of the Jovian moons. Callisto and Europa are also active centers. All of them, on paper, are governed by Earth Works. Earth Works actual influence varies. Ganymede is mostly run by crime lords. Io is much more under control. The other moons are somewhere in between.
